The Juventus camp, with one of the main Italian teams, take place in summer and is aimed at students between the age of 8 and 16, from all nationalities. Juventus is the first main club to carry out this program, opening the doors of its very modern Centro de Formación to allow the youngsters to live a unique experience around the “Juve world”. There are four base areas to choose from:

  • Vinovo (in the community of Torino): it is the third year for this camp. The accommodation is located in the Hotel Panorama which is situated in the suburbs of Cambiano, and offers 75 rooms of either 2-bed, 3-bed or 4-bed layouts.
  • Sestriere (in Piemonte): is a city situated in the hills between the Susa and Chisone valleys in Piemonte, only a few kilometres from France. The students on the Juventus summer camp will stay in the prestigious Gran Hotel Sestriere (4-star), which offers 100 fully-equipped rooms.
  • Roncegno Terme (in Trentino): it is the either year that Juventus have used this area as a base for their summer soccer camp. The sports centre can be found a small distance away and its facilities include: 7 tennis courts, 5 soccer pitches, a golf course, a medical centre, and changing rooms. The accommodation is in the Hotel Villa Angolina.
  • Cascia (in Umbria): situated 653 above sea level with fantastic views. The Grand Hotel Elite de Cascia (3-star) is home to the Juventus summer camp. The hotel offers 200 beds in rooms with TV’s, private bathrooms and air conditioning.

The exact dates depend on the location but they take place from the 17th June to the 4th August.

A typical day on the Juventus summer camp (in each of the four locations) starts at 8:15 in the morning and finishes at 22:45 in the evening. During the day they will breathe sport, but also the camp staff organise other fun activities to relax, make friends, get to know the surrounding area, and to learn about the region.

The youngsters will have two soccer sessions per day: one in the morning (from 9:30 - 12 midday) and one in the afternoon (from 16:45 - 19:00). During these the specialised coaches will teach the students about technique, tactic and game strategies, as well as sharing their experience and knowledge to enable the students to play to the best of their abilities both during training and in matches.

The four words and the slogan which are used during the training sessions on the Juventus camp are:

Play, Try, Grown and Improve.

This is what is taught to all the youngsters, both in regards to what they can achieve in the weeks of their stay, but also in everyday life following the camp experience as an integral learning opportunity.
